WHO WE ARE

The Vietnamese American Cancer Foundation (VACF) was founded in 1998 by a group of cancer survivors and local physicians who saw a need to address the high death rates due to cancer in the Vietnamese community. In 2002, VACF received its 501 (c) (3) non profit status.

VACF is dedicated to preventing cancer, improving patient quality of life, and saving lives through cancer education, research, advocacy, and services in the Vietnamese community.

We serve everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, social status, gender, age, religion, political affiliation, sexual orientation, or ability to pay.  All of VACF programs and services are free of charge.
